Quail Ridge Cockers is selective in its breeding program and puppies are available occasionally to approved homes. The goal is to produce healthy, “merry” cockers that conform to the standards set forth by the American Cocker Spaniel Club of Canada, the Canadian Kennel Club, the American Kennel Club and the American Spaniel Club. Health clearances for eyes are done annually and all dogs have OFA clearances for hips and knees.

Our dogs are an integral part of our family life and share camping and hiking with us on a regular basis. We have five grandchildren also residing in Kelowna so dogs and puppies are more than well socialized!

We actively participate in conformation (dog shows), obedience trials, Rally O and agility. Our foundation girl Can. Ch. Brookwood’s Beck N Call earned her Canine Good Neighbor certificate at the age of 8 months. She will be shown again in the spring of 2008 in the United States to complete her US Championship.

Please feel free to contact us at any time and while we may not have puppies available at the time, we can refer you to other reputable breeders and answer questions you may have. Remember, ALL puppies are cute regardless of the breed but they are a 10 to 15 year commitment. They require regular veterinary examinations and regular grooming. Cockers are an outgoing happy devoted breed and must live in the house as part of your family. We want to know about you and the environment you will be providing for the puppy and will be asking you for references. We will also provide you with references regarding us. Puppies are sold on a spay/neuter limited registration and may not be used for breeding. We have a mandatory “Take Back” policy which means if for any reason the owner can no longer care for the puppy, it MUST be returned to us. This policy is for the life of the dog.

None of our goals and dreams would have been possible without the friendship, trust and mentoring of many people. Thank you to all of you. It is a dream come true.
